How to Use Cheats in GTA 5

There are three ways to activate a cheat in GTA 5. On PlayStation and Xbox, you press a sequence of buttons on your controller during story mode. On PC, you press the tilde key to open the console command window and type a code word. Whichever method you use, the effect is instant. Cheats Disable Achievements and Do Not Work Online

Before you start entering codes, remember two things. First, cheats only work in GTA 5’s single-player story mode. They have no effect in GTA Online, so there is no risk of accidentally cheating in multiplayer.
