Apple’s latest iOS 26.4 beta 1 update brings a noticeable visual change to the Apple Music app. Users testing the beta have reported richer colors and more vibrant backgrounds, especially on the “Now Playing” screen.

According to early testers, the Music app now uses stronger gradients and album-art-driven colors, making the interface feel more lively while music is playing. The background adapts more clearly to the artwork instead of sticking to flat or muted tones seen in earlier versions.

This change appears to be purely visual. There are no reports of new playback features or changes to how Apple Music works. Apple has not mentioned this update in official release notes, which suggests it is an experimental UI polish that may still change before the public release.

As this is beta software, the new design may be adjusted or removed in later builds of iOS 26.4. More refinements could appear as testing continues.
